Despite being so new to the scene Siobhan has already spun from London to New York and for major fashion houses including Moschino and Calvin Klein.
Before making these frequent transatlantic trips and posting Insta pics with the likes of Drake and A$AP Rocky, Bell ditched her law school education to intern at music labels including Cash Money and Atlantic Records. These days, she’s gone from intern to in-demand with her own residency at cooler than cool NTS Radio and spinning discs for major events and fashion houses. She’s even curated her own club night ‘Cherryade’, and has recently expanded the brand into a line of dip-dye hair extensions, offering up a perfect palette of striking shades.
In a musical landscape dominated by DJs that’ll mix house and EDM, it’s refreshing to hear someone that is so expertly representing trap, grime, RnB and hip-hop. While her mixes feature tracks from powerhouses Drake and Frank Ocean, she’s not afraid to include some underground newcomers, and she often travels to America and Asia to ensure she’s picking up the freshest sounds.
Despite her plethora of ventures and projects already underway, Bell is now working on producing her own tracks. She doesn’t rule out releasing an album too, adding “I’d want to have loads of people [on the album], loads of creatives and up-and-coming producers.” With her current track record, and a mind full of new ideas, Siobhan Bell is a name to take note of and her mixes will be the soundtrack to our summer.
